Text is clean and complete. Binding is internally strong. Inside hinge papers are partially cracked. Brown cloth covers are age-worn, tears on spine ends and sides and weak at attach point, Corners are rubbed. Age worn, but still sturdy and readable.
This second edition introduces the concepts of Scalar and Vector classes and Longitudinal and Rotational vectors which are not found in the first and third editions or the reprints.
