Extraordinary..RARE! This is a vintage Mid Century crystal tray designed by Dorothy Thorpe. This is large, and a shape I have never seen in this line. It measures 19.5\" long x 11.5\" wide.The shape Divine... it stands 1\" off the ground in the center and flairs upward to 1.75\"..very very beautiful! Soft iridescent metallic colors of blue, purple and gold are a soft wash around the edge. The inside decoration on clear glass... hand painted 22kt gold starburst surrounded with irridescent white dots of pearl paint. In excellent vintage condition ...wear commensurate with age on the metallic edge...minor scratching to the clear glass....gold and pearl dots excellent..
