Royal Doulton Pretty Ladies figurines combine threeelements - movement, beautiful faces and posture. It\'s the unique combinationof this trio of features that ensures every figurine is elegant yetdistinctive. Royal Doulton Pretty Ladies Kathy, from every angle, projectsgrace, radiance and poise and her dress combines classic and contemporarystyles with elan. Chic details such as the cropped bolero jacket, elbow lengthruffle cuffed sleeves and an intricately embossed and embroidered dropped waistbodice add a modish twist to the gown with its traditional flounced andswirling skirt. Kathy\'s long and graceful neck is accentuated by the sweetheartshaped line to the bodice top and the softly rounded lapels of the highcollared jacket, whilst the cornflower blue of the bolero complements the palershade of the dress and the delicate blue of the hand-made roses in Kathy\'sbouquet. An elegant hair band with platinum detailing holds back Kathy\'s curlybrunette hair and reveals matching earrings. The name Kathy is derived fromKatherine, it\'s thought to be Greek in origin with a meaning of pure.
