I grade my items on the following scale:

New With Tag (NWT): Store tags and/or plastic ear tags are attached!
Excellent Used Condition (EUC): Item is in very nice condition! It is not new, but is very close!! May have an extremely, hardly noticeable, tiny flaw, but most do not. *Any flaw will be descriptively explained and/or photographed.
Good Used Condition (GUC): The item may have a couple of minor flaws, a very small amount of piling, a little color fading, and/or tush tag may be faded or missing. This would all be caused from normal wear and tear. *All flaws will be descriptively explained and/or photographed.
Could Use Restoration or Some Tender Loving Care: Item may have a major flaw, may be very used (maybe vintage), may have a lot of piling, and color fading. *All flaws will be descriptively explained and/or photographed. If you have the knowledge or can research it, many of these things can be fixed!

PLEASE NOTE:My home is smoke free, but because my items come to me from many sources, I can not always account for their history (i.e., how long they were used, and whether or not they come from a smoke free home). What I can tell you is that I would NEVER sell an item that smelled like smoke. I do surface wash them by hand or if I can, I wash them. I do so on the delicate cycle. I would suggest upon receiving the item you may want to wash it before giving it to your child. I do not do any major restorations. Unfortunately, I do not have the knowledge to do so.
