Description
This is a great door that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home.
It is made of pine and painted.
The top has a panel of clear flat glass with 2 raised panels below.
The front is very ornate with Eastlake beveled edges around the glass and panels.
There is fluting below the glass.
The panels are fluted with carved flowers in the middle.
Most of the hardware will need to be replaced.
It measures almost 30 inches wide by 80 inches tall. It is 1.5 inches thick.
Overall,it isingood condition. There are misc. scratches and dings asit isantique. It could use a good cleaning. There is a chip at the lockset. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
