An excellent copy. Book fine and very well taken care of. Dust jacket very good. Contemporary owner signature. Very Baroness Karen Blixen owned and operated a coffeeplantation in Kenya with her husband BaronBror von Blixen-Finecke from1914 to 1931. After the plantation failed and her marriage ended, she returned to Europe and wrote under the pen name Isak Dinesen.

The book was made into a film, directed by Sydney Pollack, starring RobertRedford and Meryl Streep, going on to win seven Academy Awards. USPS Priority shipping insured .
