To find a quilt with fabrics this old in this condition is very rare. Back in that era the dyes they used to make blacks and browns caused the fabric to disintegrate. For some reason, that did not happen to this quilt. It has old chintz fabrics and turkey red fabrics and even some old paisleys! I took a bunch of close ups. The fabrics are just fantastic! It has never been washed or used. Trulyremarkable and a rare find! I did not iron it or anything else to preserve it in it\'s perfect condition like it is.If you would like to look up the fabrics yourself pleasereference \"Dating Fabrics\" by Eileen Trestain.
