Reading glasses

Marked maker J W ( John White or Wilkes?)

11cm width

15cm depth of frame

These glasses are in superb condition with no damage and as good as they were whenhand made 185 years ago

They have stamps all over them

The nose bridge area carries the O date letter and head

One back segment the silver mark

An inner part of the front frame a silver mark and London mark and makers mark J W

The other frame has D 8 probably for the strength of lens

These glasses are large for the age and will fit me

Folding two part frame with cut out holes for cord for hanging around the neck

They come in the original leather case
