This Pairpoint MFG Co. salt and pepper caddie has lost all the silver plating, what remains is a lovely Art Noveau design standing 7 3/4\" high. I\'ve added a pair of antique, circa 1855, pressed glass 3 1/2\" high salt and pepper shakers. The interior of the salt shaker has been etched over the years so it has a cloudy appearance. The lids are marked STERLING 925, the hallmarks are a stylized [lion] and a fancy [R].
