DESCRIPTION

James Russell Mardi Gras prints come up often on . Most are numbered signed prints, some are just run off copies of them that are not signed or numbered.

This appears to be one that is a bit more rare than most of them and going back 3 years on through the archives, looking it up on artnet, many other art websites and resell sites and only about 3 show up that are signed and numbered and they tend to average in the $175-$250 range sold for with some going higher.

That being said, this is a hand signed by James Russell and numbered 1256 / 1500 and this is framed in wood frame and double matted.

If you want this and not the frame I can probably have it removed and then give you free shipping but we will have to discuss the type of payment accepted if I am going to take it out of the frame.

There is a little bit of yellowing to the print, or perhaps that is actually the way it is supposed to be. The frame has a glass front and could always be repainted to however you want. There is some spotting on the matting inside the frame so you might want to just have it reframed or rematted, your choice.

The artwork is about 22\" x 32\" at least what I can see. The frame total is 30\" x 122604-3 )
