For most Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) collectors, aSyrup server is one of the most sought after pieces.

Tarentum Glass Co. introduced the “Ladder” pattern (Pattern# 292) in 1901.

The Tarentum Glass Co. was in operation in Tarentum,Pennsylvania, from 1894 until 1918.World War I ended may EAPG companies because demand fell and the heavyiron glass molds were melted down for military use.

This Syrup is an amazing piece! The glass is in super conditionwith no chips, cracks, flakes, cloudiness, or flea-bites. There is a crack inthe silverplated white metal lid, near the hinge. (See pic) It does not reach the edge and doesn’timpact the hinge working properly. Thistype of lid construction is very soft, with many syrups currently beinglidless.

Approx. 7 ¼ inches tall, 5 inches wide – a substantialPiece!
