We welcome your offers on this authentic autograph of famous Civil War drummer boy Orion P. Howe (1848-1930). Howe was a 14 year old musician attached to the 55th Illinois Vol. Infantry. At Vicksburg, although severely wounded and under heavy fire he reported personally to General Sherman regarding the need for correct ammunition for his regiment. One of the youngest recipients, his MOH Citation is worth reading. A very rare autograph. From the 19th C. collection we acquired this past year. Guaranteed authentic.
