This paper doll set has been publishedmany times throughout the years as Marilyn Monroe and American Beauties, withdifferent front covers and different book sizes and prints. The original sizeMarilyn Monroe Paper Dolls were 11 ½ inches tall with the stand and camewithSIXFull Sheetsof glamorous 1950’s fashion costumes.TheMarilyn Monroe set I have is a reprint that I have had for years storedinside a plastic see through photo cover. I thought I would display this set bymaking my own front / back covers and making a fashion folder to store the paper dolls in.These Marilyn Monroe paper dolls are 8 ½ inches tallset on 80 wt. cardstock paper and theglamorous fashions are on 60 wt.8X11 light cream color vintage paper. Also these sets being a reprint, MarilynMonroe’s hair is not the bright blonde hair, but a dark brown. This is alovelyreprintLasercopy and is nicefor anypaperdoll collector that loves collecting paper dolls. Also nice todisplay ona shelf or behind a glass case, or just cut-out for fun. The pictures I have taken of thisMarilyn Monroe paperdoll setappears to look faded, the flash of the camera made the picturesto come out looking lighter than they really are.The colors are verybright and beautiful.
