ISRAELI MID 20th CENTURY hand painted enamel on hand embossed copper plaque, in VERY GOOD+ pre-owned condition!
This impressionist framed art piece from Rikuah Studios in Israel, depicts a Venetian gondolier paddling his gondola on a Venice canalwith buildings in the background.
Original frame is wood, painted white with moderate age wear (please see photos) which can easily be touched up.Copper is painted black with hand painted enamel accents. Embossing is in very good+ condition with minor age wear and afew lightscuffs in black background. There is no paper backing but the Studio\'s label is clearly seen in photo.Rikuah Studios in Tel Aviv, Israel, were known for their unique art pieces in the 50\'s and 60\'s,particularly their series of embossed copper art pieces.
