Up for sale is this Kindjal dagger, made in Zlatoust the famous Russian blade manufacturer and which was issued to the Kuban Cossack troops in the early 20 C. 13.6 inches blade, etched with the Zlatoust marking and the letters ZOF (In Cyrillic letters), standing for Zlatoust Weapon Factory and KKV (also in Cyrillic letters) standing for Kuban Cossack Army) . The blade is dated to 1906. Grips with painted black niello white metal mounts. The scabbard is covered with the original black leather. Total length 20.8 inches.The general condition is excellent, with normal signs of age, pitting on the blade..
