(SALE) Vtg. HTF - (10) TIMES SQUARE, NYC POSTCARDS- Circa 1915/20s/30s + 40s Condition Varies - plus one Bonus: matchbook cover

From my personal collection- 10 unique early postcards (some very HTF) showing 4 Times Square hotels, The Times Building, Horn + Hardart Automat, a special huge \'Budweiser\' illuminated sign, the Public Library plus surrounding areas with other images. These postcards take you on a tour from 1915 all the way into post-war 1940\'s. Please see list below for image details + conditions. Each card comes in an acid-free plastic sleeve.

- Note: Just 4 of the cards show some very minor stains on the backs, none of which impose on the overall beauty of the front images, as photos below reveal.

(1)The Knickerbocker Hotel-used color card postmarked 1913. GOOD CONDITION with some small minor stains on back. (2) Knickerbocker Grill (interior)- HTF - unused early color card c.1915/1920. \'NEAR MINT\' CONDITION.

(3) The Times Building- very HTF,unused early sepia embossed and shiny varnish card c.1915. \'NEAR MINT\' CONDITION. (4)ThePublic Library, NYC-used color card postmarked 1919. GOOD CONDITION with some faint minor stains on back + minor fold marks on one corner.

(5) Hotel Dixie- unused color linen card c.1930\'s. VERY GOOD COND. (6) Times Square and Paramount Bldg., NY- HTF Rarity- Incredible view of Times Square. Used black + white varnished card- postmarked 1933, but I believe this card is c.1920\'s by the automobile styles. VERY GOOD COND.

(7) Horn & Hardart Automat, Times Sq., NY- used color card- postmarked 1936, but again car style reveals possibly late 1920\'s. GOOD CONDITION with some faint/minor stains on back only. Check out the insert section showing details of the automat machines serving coffee + displaying pies. (8) Times Sq., New York City- unused linen color card c. 1940\'s. GOOD CONDITION with some faint/minor stains- minor fold mark on one corner.

(9) Hotel Holland near Times Sq., NYC- used color linen card with postmark 1945, card is in VERY GOOD CONDITION, and includes --> BONUS:Hotel Holland Matchbook- flattened cover- thestriker is unused/printed in gold metallic ink + black- \'NEAR MINT\' CONDITION c.1940\'s. (10) Budweiser (huge illuminated billboard at night) Times Square- used color linen card postmarked 1952. This exact \'Grand Canyon\' image billboard was the premier of all post-war spectacular advertising ideas, according to the text on the card. \'NEAR MINT\' CONDITION.
