ITEM : antique handpainted polychrome plate commemorative to Dutch Votes for Woman organisation.In 1919 dutch woman could vote after 25 years of struggle.Thanks to the sufragette Aletta Jacobs.She was the fist woman who did go to the university where she studied medicine and graduated as a doctor.This plate is made in very small numbers and this is the second plate I found in 18 years.A rare add to your vote for woman collection ... SIZE : 10.2 inch in diameter

AGE : Made in 1919.

MANUFACTURER : Sierkunst studio Amsterdam,Netherlands.This plate was specially made in commision for the company van Baaren Enschede

CONDITION : EXCELLENT,no damages.Due to the cold lacquer methos due to age some lacquer (very small spots) are vanished (see pic)
