This is asuperb Georgian style Sterling Silver Sauce Boat, which I believe to be made by the prestigious makersAdie Brothers,and hallmarked c1933 at theBirmingham assay office.

Thislovely stylishsauce boathasa wonderful patina andmeasures approx.6 2/10inches (155 mm) in lengthwith a width at thetopthat is approx.3 8/16 inches (85mm)and a height to the top of the handle ofabout3inches (75mm), it iswell constructed and weighs approx.99 grams, 3.4oz. It carries a clearset of Sterling Silver hallmarks for Birmingham, with a clear well defined makers mark ofABros Ltd, date letter \'J\' - c1933.

This lovelyquality HM sterling silversauce boatbeen used and shows signs of use, there is a slight distortion/repair at the lip and the wavy edge has a slight tear, thecondition is generally good tovery good- it would benefit from a good clean and polish as always I have left it in it\'s original state (please see pictures and make your own mind up). On the whole very nice collectablesauce boatfrom a sought after maker which would be a wonderful addition to any Christmas table.

Please contact me first if you wish to pay by other means - payment by paypal requires tracked, fully insured signed for delivery hence special delivery by default.

If you pay by cheque I will usually post as soon as possible on receipt and I will leave response once the cheque has fully cleared.
