Probably 19th-20th Century. Charming TINY little polychrome multi colored indian silver enameled elephant with pearls and \'gemstones\'. I am not sure if the gems and pearls are real. Has chips and scuffs throughout, but the scale is so mall on this piece - it stands about 3 in tall - they really don\'t show. Neat little piece, which I don\'t know much about. Check out this similar exampleHERE for a reference, sold for $150. Could make a neat Christmas ornament if it were modified by the buyer to hang from a string (right now it does not hang on its own!).
