GOLDLADIES SNUFF BOXNo marks but probably dates to the late 19th. century.----------A superb, medium sized snuff box, in terrific condition.Delightful, rose gold colour.Plain, all round the sides, but with fantastic filigreedecoration to the lid, all within a cast chain link andfeathered border.VERY WELL MADE IN HEAVY GAUGE GOLD----------The superb quality of the filigree work leads me to believethat it was made in India, for the Anglo Indian trade.This would reinforce my belief that it was made towardsthe end of the of the 19th. century.----------Opens and closes perfectly, with absolutely no slack.SUPERB NEAR ORIGINAL CONDITIONThe best I`ve ever seen.NO FAULTS----------Height:- 27 millimetres / 1.06 inches.Length:- 56 mms. / 2.20 ins.Width:- 43 mms. / 1.69 ins.Weight:- 36.3 grams / 1.17 ounces.
