ITEM DESCRIPTION: We are offering a Cast Iron Speaking Dog mechanical bank. Place a coin on girl\'s hand, press firmly on button on front and coin drops into bank (dogs mouth also opens at that time). Key is included for the bottom locking closure. Hard to find ANY mechanical bank with a locking mechanism. Bottom marked Shepherds Hardware with a date, as shown. Good condition- works as it should. Not 100 years old, but still good overall quality. Measures about 6 3/4\" high, 7 1/4\" across and 3\" deep.Lock mechanism works with a little patience.Good paint, has light surface oxidation on bottom (see last image). Unsure which breed, perhaps a Pit Bull, Newfoundland orRottweiler? Feel free to ask any questions. Good luck!
