This large ice bucket measures approximately 7-5/8\" across and5-7/8\" tall with the handles loweredand approx 9\" tall with the handles raised.

The design is timeless. Double walled Stainless Steel help keep the ice cool. A true Danish modern design classic designed by Arne Jacobsen. The Cylinda-line was a groundbreaking series when it hit the market in 1967 winning the ID design award. The Cylinda-Line is a perfect example of functionalist design.
The Cylinda concept was originally sketched on a napkin in 1964, and it literally took three years to bring into production. It required and new technology to make Cylinda Line stainless-steel hollow-ware possible. Arne Jacobsen insisted on seamless tubes with perfect, brushed surfaces, and he continued to add new pieces to the collection until 1971. Pieces of the line are included in the permanent collections of MOMA and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
