The silver is embossed in a classic style typical of the era with the ribbon and reed design. The frame has a polished wooden back and strut enabling landscape photographs to be displayed, complete with a genuine moire watered silk lining. The finest purity unalloyed silver has a depth of colour not found on lower grade silver items.
Unlike so many on now, this silver frame is not mass produced but beautifully hand made, using the finest materials by one of the bestEnglishsilver frame makers: PVF. Brand new and boxed it has never been used so no dings, dents or scratches, a beautiful quality item.
