The silver is beautifully embossed in a lovely understated style of the era with little decoration save for beaded borders and four symmetrical motifs to each corner. The frame has a polished wooden back and pointed strut enabling portrait or landscape photographs to be displayed with a genuine moire watered silk lining.The finest purity unalloyed 999 silver has a depth of colour not found on lower grade 925 silver items.
