Royal Doulton\"The Wizard\"HN 2877 Mint ConditionThis is a truly lovely hand made figurine from Royal Doulton. Signed by A. Maslonkowski, who alsomodeledthe piece. Stated on the bottom of piece is the Royal Doulton emblem, the number HN 2877 along with the copyright sign with Royal Doulton Tablewear Limited 1978. The Wizard stands 9 3/4\" in height and is wearing a blue robe with a pink sash around his waist to hold his magic pouch. There is a black cat at his feet looking up at him and an owl over his right shoulder who appears to be reading along with the Wizard as he studies Spell 177. The Wizard has gray hair and beard and is wearing a black hat with 3 new moons, a star and the planet Saturn. His left black shoe pokes out below his robe. From the information I have been able to obtain this piece was not distributed in the United States.
Displayed in glass cabinet since purchase, with no direct light.
Shipped Priority Mail, box floated within a box for safety.
