Two Valentine Post Card from \"Flower Valentine Series No. 3\" - one with Pansies, one with Peonies. Both from 1909 - Copyright E. Nash. See detailed info about each, as follows: - - - - - - - PC #1 - Gorgeous Valentine Post Card in EXCELLENT condition, with no creases, bends or tears. Mailed post marked from Omaha, NE (date too hard to read) to Mrs. Frank (Emma) Blumer (?) in Minden IA Iowa. See photos for hand-written message. Front features vivid colors on raised embossed & textured background: A purple and yellow pansy flower and bud with green foliage and a blue bow, highlighted with shiny silver and gold. The heart in lower right corner contains verbiage: \"Pansies are thoughts sublime, be my Valentine\". The back is divided and says \"Flower Valentine Series No. 3\". Green ONE CENT postage stamp is attached. Bottom front right-hand corner says \"COPR. E. NASH 1909\". - - - - - - - - - PC #2 - Gorgeous Valentine Post Card mailed post marked from Denver, Colorado dated February 7, 1910 to Mrs. W. A. Brown in Jefferson, IA Iowa. There are three places on the front where some of the color has come off. Front features vivid colors on raised embossed & textured background: A large white peony flower and light pink peony bud purple, green foliage and a pink bow, highlighted with shiny gold. The heart in lower right corner contains verbiage: \"Paeonia symbol of Happiness wilt sublime thou be my Valentine?\". The back is divided and says \"Flower Valentine Series No. 3\". Green ONE CENT postage stamp is attached. See photos for verbiage / hand-written note. There is a VERRRY slight \'crease\' at the bottom left-hand corner - it\'s very difficult to see. Bottom front right-hand corner says \"COPR. E. NASH 1909\". - - - - - - - -We\'ve owned BOTH of these for 30+ years in our clean, smoke-free home.
