Amazing and rare Medieval jousting knight on horse, produced and marked on base by Ugo Zaccagnini, Italy. Pottery mark dates this between 1937 and 1958 but I believe this piece is from around 1945. Beautiful piece with vibrant, gorgeouscolors and superb modeling. It\'s tin glazed terracotta with bright blue, yellow greens and reds and the knights armour is a metallic silver. In overall excellent condition aside from the few condition issues noted (missing lance which can be replaced, sword tip broken off and two tiny nicks). Large figure, measures131/2\" wide and the tallest is 14\" tall.
