\"Pair of 19th C. Meissen Blue Onion Porcelain Salad Plates\"
These wonderful porcelain plates are from a late 19th century dinner service but look as though they were made yesterday. They are side salad plates. The Zweibelmuster or Onion pattern was introduced by Meissen in the middle of the 18th century and despite being one of the few blue and white patterns produced by the company, it has gone on to become one of the most successful patterns produced. Painted in underglaze blue. On the reverse are the cross swords marks for Meissen. The plates are 10\" in length, 6\" in width and 1\" in height. The plates have been boxed away and are in near perfect condition with no stains, cracks, chips or repairs.Your browser does not support JavaScript. To view this page, enable JavaScript if it is disabled or upgrade your browser.
