We are offering an original work, oil on canvas, by the French artist V. Vezien depicting a brace of ducks of various types, gathered on and around an old wooden dock. Extremely well executed with great attention to detail and a most pleasing color palette. We were able to find a number of paintings by this artist sold at sale depicting animals or landscapes. In very good original condition. No paint loss or damage. There is a faint horizontal line that runs across the top parallel to the edge. Canvas appears to have been professionally removed and then re-applied to the stretcher at some point - looks to have been relined. Painting was cleaned several years ago. Measures 10 3/4\" x 16 1/4\" (framed size: 14 1/2\" x 20\"). A delightful yet refined work that is most pleasant to the eye. Fresh out of an estate and offered here for the first time at .
