Original & Rare 1940s Bob\'s of Albany Ga. sandwich / peanut jar and original glass lid.
Vintage Bob\'s sandwich / peanut jar and original glass lid is in great condition, very bright red Bob\'s logo, 2 flea bites on inside rim of jar, has on the jar Bob\'s Albany Ga. Peanut Butter Sandwiches Salted Peanuts, size is 7\" wide and 10\" tall with the lid on.
In 1919 Bob\'s started out as Famous Candy Company But the name soon change to Bob\'s And in the 1930s and 1940s BOB\'S was Selling Candy And Snacks Out Of 1 gal. round jars and 2 gal. side loaders Glass Jars, Then In 1940S World War 11 sugar was rationing so they expanded into cracker sandwiches and peanut products.
Bob\'s candy in 1986 came out with a 1 gal. round jar with Bob\'s on one side and 1900 truck on the over side.
Bob\'s Candy Company was sold a few years back so the Bob\'s jars will keep going up in value as all collectibles jars have.
