This is a stunning handmade antique quilt. The pattern is Broken Star. It is made from beautiful and brilliant solid color cottons and delightful cotton prints, cotton batting. It has been hand pieced with exceptional care. This is a challenging pattern, the points match perfectly. The tiny hand quilting is excellent! Each of the diamonds have been outlined, has many different quilting patterns with dense quilting. The backing is solid white and it has been brought to the front and done on what looks to be treadle machine stitching. Lays Flat and shows well. Charming old quilt would go wonderful with any decor style. Tiny stitching and exquisitely done by talented hands. Very beautiful quilt for display or to use.

CONDITION: Excellent condition has tiny spots on back.(SEE PICTURES) Please keep in mind that vintage and antique means old or used and sometimes come with flaws representative with age, we have no way of verifying if they ever been exposed to smoke or pets, unless otherwise stated in the description.
