VINTAGE ARCHITECTURAL COLUMN CAPITAL, CAST IRON INDUSTRIAL DECORATIVE 19 CENT.:
$450.00

You are viewing four very rare and stunning architectural items from the \"Cast Iron Building Age\" of the mid to late 1800\'s. These are cast iron column capitals that were used by architects to decorate building columns which may have been entirely cast iron or heavy wood timbers. They form a four piece set, one for each of the four sides of a column. The four sides were attached with bolts through the bolt holes. They look very heavy, and are at 20 pounds each ! They have a great patina with traces of old paint and some expected normal rusting. The dimensions are: 13\" high x 15\" wide x 1\" thick at the thickest point. They make a great architectural decorative item which can be displayed on a wall, shelf, outdoors or just about anywhere. The listed price of $495 is for a single piece. I\'m offering these as single purchases or multiples with discounts for multiples All four of these lined up on a wall (horizontal or vertical patterns)in a home or gallery/office setting would be spectacular, or just the simple classic elegance of a single. If a buyer desires all four or in pairs, contact me for special pricing. Please note that this sale offer is ONLY for ONE piece at the stated price. No returns due to heavy weight so please study the pictures and description carefully
Shipping is free ONLY within the contiguous 48 US states, all other destinations will be charged actual shipping cost when destination is known.
