VINTAGE DE LA RUE ONOTO MINOR 1202 A7 FOUNTAIN PEN - BROWN & GOLD. WORKING.:

This is a De La Rue Onoto Minor 1202 A7 fountain pen in a pattern of Brown and Gold brickwork which dates from the 1930\'s. It is 11.7cm long and is a plunger-filler with gold-plated trim.

The barrel imprint reads \'Onoto-Minor. De La Rue & Co Ltd London\'. Patent Applied For\'. The model number - 1202 A7 - can be found at the end of the barrel. The imprint on the Medium nib reads \'Warranted. 14ct. TDLR & Co Ltd. 33\'. The cap has two narrow bands and the \'teardrop\' clip bears the TDLR logo.

It can be seen that the pen is in lovely condition. There are no cracks, scratches or dings, the barrel imprint is well defined and there is minimal surface wear. The trim is very good with just a hint of wear to the cap bands and the nib is excellent.

The pen has been professionally restored and is in perfect working order. The plunger filler works smoothly, the pen fills nicely and writes very well.

This is a lovely example of an Onoto Minor pen - unusual pattern, very good condition and fully functional. I\'m sure that the buyer will be delighted with it but, as always, a full refund will be offered if he/she is not completely satisfied with the purchase.
