Very pretty original oil on canvas painting of an Italian landscape / water scene. It is signed in paint verso, \"Martinelli.\" It also has a brass plague with the name \"Martinelli\" attached to the frame. The frame is made of carved wood.
Martinelli - Born in Genoa, Italy 1910. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts at an early age. There is a brisk demand for his paintings both in Italy and abroad. Bought it from estate sale 8 years ago.This info wasattached to the back of the frame on piece of paper, witch already gone (to old to read something, removed).

The painting is measures W 13\" x H 16\" The frame measures W 21\" x H 25\"
