Vintage Royal Doulton Bunnykins Child\'s Bowl \"To The Hunt Ball\" Barbara VernonThis charming bowl measures 5 7/8\" across the top and 6 1/8\" across the base.
It is signed by Barbara Vernon and marked with 2 Royal Doulton marks, one of which is green.
It features a baby chick pulling two well dressed bunnykins in a cart.
The sign reads \"To the Hunt Ball\", thus indicating their destination.
The chick does not look too happy with his new job.
The basic color is a yellowish ivory which is typical of the older pieces.I am not sure if the bowl is for porridge or just a heavy all purpose child\'s dish.There is age crackle in the glaze and the chick has a small rub on the back of his head.
The bunnies have 2 very minor scratches and other normal use scratching appears in the undecorated part.
There is a small dark manufacturer\'s inclusion under the glaze below the signature ( pic. 3)
