Beautiful, highly detailed, hand painted and lacqueredRussian jewelry, trinket box. Great scene on top, looks to be a wedding feast. I cannot provide information on the actual subject matter pictured as I am not fluent in Russian or familiarwith Russianfolklore. Box measures 7.5\" (192mm) x 5.5\" (143mm) x 1.625\" (39mm). Good working hinge. Box is footed. With COA (pictured). In great condition, minimal wear.
