On offer is an early vintage Jim Edenshaw sterling silver pendant in excellent original condition.
Fine example of Indigenous Art from the Northwest Coast First Nations of Canada.
Jim Edenshaw was born in Queen Charlotte City, Queen Charlotte Islands in British Columbia, Canada in 1955. This area is representative of the Haida Nation, one of the eldest nations inhabiting the Northwest Coast of Canada. He first started carving in 1979 at the age of twenty-four. He was very fortunate to have learned the Northwest Coast Haida art style and technique in Vancouver, where a wide variety of artists contributed to his knowledge of the art. He works as a gold and silversmith, a printmaker, in glass etching and occasionally in castings. Jim has done several designs for button blankets as well. Jim\'\'s attention to detail and style has made him an internationally well-known artist mainly known for his intricately handcrafted jewellry items.
