Vintage Navy Raw Silk Dress/Jacket Set, c. 1950s

Classic 1950s lightweight 2-piece dress set
Dress features light pleating in the front of hips; matching belt; zips up in back. Unlined.
Jacket is cropped; 3/4 sleeves; fabric covered buttons. Peter pan collar. It is lined.
Label: Dauphine ~ also has union label

Measurements: (Note: dress was designed to be worn with period foundation garments - thus the small waist/large bust discrepancy - think Joan on Mad Men...) Belt is marked size 12 which would be considered a small in the 1950s.
