Luster or metallic colours on this arts and crafts designed 5\" Weller Sicardo or Sicard vase created by Jacques Sicard back in the 1902 to 1907 period. This vase is wonderful piece to find. The vase required many steps in the production with layers of color and matallic lusters to create the final finished vase. This old Weller art pottery vase is in wonderful condition with outstanding colours in the decoration and with a high degree of SHARP mold detail on the Art Nouveau blossoms and leaves with intricate graphics. The glaze is a combination of luster and metallics in the finish that is uniquely made and designed by Weller and made in Zanesville, Ohio back in the 1902 to 1907. The vase stands 5\" tall, and 3 1/2\" wide. Many of the Weller Sicardo designed vases are shown in Huxford\'s book on Weller Pottery on page 88 to 92. The vase has NO hairlines, NO cracks, NO fleabites and in wonderful and original condition. Please see the above pictures to view this vase.
