First edition. Quarto. (Measures approx. 11 1/2 x 9\"). Unpaginated; [28 pp]. Beautiful chromolithographs throughout in the style of Louis Wain and Kate Greenaway.
Original color illustrated boards over green cloth spine, patterned endpapers. Text in sepia tone. Moderate foxing and tearing throughout, one page with long tear, tips bumped, inner hinges cracked, some pages folded at inner bottom at margin, not affecting text. A good copy of a charming Nister title, with no previous owner\'s signatures or notations and with gorgeous chromolithographs. Scarce.
