Late 19th century French Belle Epoque era .800 nearly sterling silver 3pc hors d\'oeuvre or caviar serving set crafted by Parisian silversmith Eugene Collet. Comprising of a fork, a scoop or flat server and a spoon. Great a la Russe pattern, decorated in the Russian style with a bit of Renaissance flavor, the casted handles embellished with bell flowers and stylized acanthus leaves. The fork has a delicate floral, foliate engraving. Very good to excellent condition, there are no dents, damage or repairs to note, just some very light surface scuffs or scratches commensurate with age & use.

Hallmarked with the wild boar\'s head, a French standard for .800/1000 silver. The mark was typically used on small objects of at least 80% pure silver content. Each piece also bears maker\'s marks for Eugene Collet, active from 1886 till 1894, whose workshop was located at 176 rue du Temple in Paris.
