Fresh estate find.Genuinely remarkable fixed blade Ka-Bar with its fine original leather sheath. Both knife (Olean NY - mark used 1923-1951) and sheath are fully marked Ka-Bar. This knife has never been sharpened and retains most of the mirror polished finish. It appears to have been carried - as you can see from the sheath - but it is unusually nice. Blade is about 4-1/4 and the overall length is about 8 inches. Other than some discoloration to the side of the blade that is marked Ka-Bar (likely from the leather) the opposite side, right at the belly of the blade, someone has scratched into the finish. There\'s an excellent close-up of that for you to review. The stacked washers are excellent without a hint of wobble or sign of use, and the butt is absolutely tight and shows no dings or gouges or such. This is a fine example that I think most of us would love to have in their collection. And it will certainly clean up more than my wiping off the dust if you feel so inclined.
