This is the last one of 2 NASA Test Pilot Flight Suits that was found in a storage locker with other flight suits, USAF aviation items, and NASA items that was stored in Southern California since the early 80\'s- they are not sure how long the items were stored prior to that. We sold the other Flight Suit, so this is the last one left.

This NASA Test Pilot Flight Suit is new, without tag, has no wear, tear or stains, and has a company name stamped on the collar area, SPACE AGE CONTROL, INC. It is very wrinkled from storage and the fabric is crisp as new.

These Gold Colored Flight Suits were worn during the 1960\'s and early 1970\'s Apollo testing age.

Space Age Control, Inc were contracted by NASA to make and test transducers for aircraft flight control testing.

From Online: SpaceAge Control was established in 1968 to design, develop, and manufacture pilot protection devices in support of space-based and high-performance test aircraft programs. In 1970, the company was awarded a NASA contract to produce precision, small-format position transducers for aircraft flight control testing. The successful completion of this contract led to the development and production of a complete line of innovative, small-size position transducers.

Approximate measurements are:

Underarm to Underarm- 22 inches (Chest- 44\");

Shoulder Seam to end of Cuff- 23 inches;

Back collar to Top of Inseam area (crotch)- 35 1/2 inches;

Inseam- 28 1/2 inches;

Waist- 38 inches at it\'s widest and has velcro adjustments at waist to cinch it in tighter if necessary.

It is new, old stock, with no wear, and tears or stains.

The fabric is still crisp and vibrant. Coveralls are slightly wrinkled from storage.

They have 9 zippered pockets (2 breast, 2 side leg, 2 front leg, 2 lower leg, and 1 left arm with pencil slot), ankle zippers to slide over boots, zippers at the cuffs, and waist velcro to adjust fit.
