Up for sale is a Scarce, Original Campaign Posterfor Oregon State Senator Wayne Morse (1900-1974), who served in the U.S. Senatefrom 1945 to 1969 as a Republican, Independent and Democrat; Morse was knownfor his vocal opposition to the Vietnam War on constitutional grounds. This original poster from his reelectioneffort from 1968 includes a psychedelic design with a duotone photograph of thesenator in the middle of the poster; has “1968 Re-Elect Wayne Morse Committee”on the lower right corner of the poster; printed in blue and orange. Very good plus condition with minorwear. Overall, a nice piece of Oregon1960s political history. Measures h-21 xw-14 inches.
