\"SCROOGE AND BOB CRATCHIT\" 1971 ROYAL DOULTON BESWICK Christmas CAROL MUG - MINT. This is a wonderful limited edition collectors \"Christmas Carol\" tankard or mug by Beswick and Royal Doulton. It is the first release in the annual series beginning in 1971. It features Bob Cratchit and Scrooge sharing in Scrooge\'s transformation over a Christmas bowl of Smoking Bishop. This colorful 5\" tankard features characters and room décor in a raised effect that gives it a 3 dimensional appearance. The year is in relief on the bottom edge of the mug and features the maker information on the bottom. I no longer have the original box, but this is in excellent condition with no crazing, cracks, ships, or repairs. A great opportunity to add to or start your collection of this great series.
