Have a Pintrist or craft project in mind... Jar Holder, Flower Pots, Rack for Towels? This is a uniquely numbered vintage piece of barn wood, as-pictured. Our barn in southwest Missouri is 70 t0 80 years old, made from local oak. We have been restoring it for use in the farm and nursery operations. This piece is about: 6x6 inches, with rough end. Ships as 1 lbs.
Sent as pictured, specifically numbered, this piece is raw, rough, may have splits or rot, nails and sharp edges, and only lightly cleaned. Measurements are approximate, color varies, thickness will vary, and the pictures were taken in natural sunlight. This ships right away, but as the holidays draw near, keep in mind that we will be closed from
December 15th through January 3rd. No shipments will be made during that time, so plan early.

Atthat time, those states believed they had the Right to withdraw fromthe union and form their own country. When Lincoln (now a foreigngovernment) unconstitutionaly sent an army into the newly formedConfederate States of America, the people rose to defend their homeland.Only a small fraction of the people fought to keep slavery. The vastmajority, whether manipulated by their leaders or not, fought to defendtheir homes and families. The BattleFlag is not a symbol ofhate, but points to the greater challenge ofovercoming ignorance and bigotry in our highly blended society of manypeoples. As our school systems have adopted a political-correctness, notteaching history as it really happened, our children and our societyhas just become \"stupid\". And from ignorance, comes hatreds, and all of the other problems that further divides us. Pleasedo NOT allow theConfederate Flag to be removed from public grounds, or any where elseit flies. It is as much an American Flag and the Stars and Stripes.Rather, we need remove the ignorant and cowardly politicians fromoffice. The problem is not withthe Flag, but with our entire educational system! The fault belongsdirectly with ourleaders, at all levels of government, in allowing political correctness,Common Core, and the \"dumbing-down\" of our children to continue. Our leaders and educators are charged with teaching our children and our citizens the truthof our American history and our heritage in our school systems, yet theyhave allowed gross inaccuracies and deceptions to prevail. Instead, ourpoliticians promote hatred and division among the many racially andculturally different groups that make up this great and wonderful experiment called \"America\".This must not continue...Why dont they teach the truth about the American Civil War, howit was a struggle of independence from a centralist government imposingits will on the States, and individual rights? Why dont they teach thetruth about the Battle Flag, being the rallying symbol for the fightagainst the northern invaders. Yes, America does have periods of an often dark andugly history, it must not be \"white-washed\" and removed it as if it didnt happen.Slavery happened. Wars happened. Hatreds among all peoples and groupscontinue to happen. Its tragic, its sad, but history is about whathappened, the hows and whys, and with the hope that knowing about ourpast, maybe we can prevent such things from happening again. Taking downthe Flag does Not change the history, nor does it solve the problem ofignorance and violence. If our other leaders will notdefend truth and teach our American history as it really happened, our heritage, protect our rightsand freedoms, then they need to step down!
