For your consideration is one very patriotic owl ornie.
He would be the perfect addition for the 4th of July or for the Americana lover...use him year long!
I have created this owl using a cotton fabric with a beige background and the red, blue and navy blue stars and dots throughout. Same fabric on both sides.
After I have meticulously machine stitched the owl he is stuffed with polyester fiberfill. I have hand stitched around the owl\'s eyes using chenille fabric (scalloped cut outs) that was hand stitched with white crochet thread as well as adding black buttons and hand embroidered the nose with a bright blue embroidery floss.
This patriotic owl has been placed in my grunging solution of coffee, vanilla and cinnamon to give a more primitive appeal.A prim hang tag shall be secured with a rusty safety pin. Tag depicts fire crackers.
This hand crafted owl doll measures approximately 4 3/4 inches in height and 3 3/4 inches from side to side at the widest part.This owl can certainly be used all year long but would be especially nice to have around during the 4th of July to show your patriotic side. A cotton string hanger has been included on the back for ease in hanging on a holiday tree, pegboard, etc. You can easily cut the hanger off if you wish to use this as a bowl filler or tucked upon a shelf or in a cupboard.
