Beautifully mad mid 19th century (1840\'s- 1860\'s) large brass button referred to by collectors as a Victorian Drum. The button features hand made book or library paper under glass. It is a two piece button with a brass rim crimped over a tin back with a thin wire loop shank. The button measures 1 inch in diameter. The button is in excellent condition. I have not cleaned the rim of the button. I leave that decision to the new owner.Buy with confidence as all my items arrive with an unconditional return policy.
