Up for sale is one of my own, Custom Cedar Boxes - This is a ONE OF A KIND PIECE, I paint and make each of these myself, and never make any two the same. This guarantees YOU a one of a kind artisan piece.
Beautiful Piece - Cedar Box - I purchased the \"blank boxes\" as seconds, therefore there will be small blemishes, scratches, dings, knot holes and etc. that are common with any natural wood product.
I then often \"distress\" my paint jobs by adding more wear, burns, and etc. to give them a really unique antiqued look. Some of the boxes may NOT be 100% cedar as they may have Masonite (pressed board) top and or bottom. I have been selling these at local toy and comic cons all across the Midwest for 3 years and people absolutely LOVE THEM, knowing they have a unique piece.Please examine photos carefully, and ask any questions before offerding.
I hope you like my personal art touches with distressing and paint techniques, on average I spend about 1 hour on each box I craft, by the time I get the various paint layers, distressing decoupage and finally a clear coat lacquer finish to seal the outside of the box for protection.
