Offered from a local NJ estate is a beautiful antique set of 10 locally producedpedestal foot Sterling Silver Demitasse cup holders withpierced band featuring embossed Adam style designs of alternatingwreaths and urnsA high square top handle completes the classic style and balances the delicatebase with the 2 ounce Lenox gold rim linerThe underplates are nicely cupped and have a lightly hammered finishthat disguises any scratches these antique (1906-1930) set might otherwise show
The sterling is made in Newark NJ by Matthews Co thelogo of an \"M\" with scimitar overlaid is on all piecesand each set weighs almost 2 troy ounces
Saucers are 3 3/4\" across and a bit over 1/2\" high at rimCup holders are 1 7/8\" at rim, 2 1/8\" high at handleand 2 1/8\" across at rim
The Lenox antique green mark liners are 2 1/4\" tall2 3/8\" across at flared rim and hold 2 ounces liquidThey are ivory color with gold trimmed rimOne of the liners has a wider gold band than the other 9 but ageand size are samesee the pictures
